ICOM and Internet
museum: this new controlled-access website has been created on the Internet specifically for museums, their professional organisations and members of the museum community. In order to be accepted, museums must operate in accordance with the museum principles defined by ICOM. For ICOM members the procedure is simpler.
The ICOM website is a database of information about ICOM, its various Committes and their activities. It is also a portal that gives access to scientific level information.
ICOM-L: is ICOM’s email distribution list and is a useful scientific tool for all ICOM members.
ICOMMUNITY: is a platform designed to allow ICOM members to find and share information. This platform is constantly evolving and being enriched with new topics. If you visit it regularly you will learn what’s new.
