PRESIDENT’S NOTE
These times of uncertainty we are living in call for a clear vision of what kind of organisation we want ICOM to be. I have set three objectives: to lead the global heritage sector by making our work more visible; to effectively support our Members in navigating the difficult challenges brought on by the pandemic; and to change our organisation to make it more transparent and democratic.
They are ambitious objectives – but I am convinced that, through the invaluable work of each and every one of our Members, we will be able to achieve them. Through the President’s Note section of the new ICOM Member Newsletter, every month I will update you on the progress made to achieve them and what to look forward in the next month. Thank you for being an important member of ICOM!
