Poetry in the shape of things – Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki
The Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki proposes a different way of approaching antiquities by rendering their form through the writing of poems by Greek authors, and invites its online visitors to submit the calligraphy they will create themselves, transferring a poem or story that they will choose or will be inspired by the shape of objects they love.
The Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki will present calligraphies of its antiquities together with selected calligraphy of the visitors in a digital exhibition, the second which will be organized on the occasion of the International Museum Day on May 18, while the content of the exhibition will be constantly enriched.
